Dr Richard Jabbour is a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with extensive knowledge in coronary and structural interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation. He received his medical degree from Imperial College London and completed his training in renowned hospitals in London, including Imperial College Healthcare Trust, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Royal Brompton, and Harefield Hospital.
Dr Jabbour was also awarded an international fellowship at the world-renowned San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy, where he gained advanced training in interventional cardiology techniques. He holds a PhD from the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London, which focused on creating engineered heart tissue from induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, leading to numerous awards and accolades.
Dr Jabbour’s NHS base is at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, which is recognised as one of the UK's largest tertiary centres for cardiovascular disease treatment. Additionally, he is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.

Richard Jabbour has a very reassuring manner and gives good explanations of the procedures that i have been through and the plan going forward in regard to further tests and monitoring any pills one has to take and their strength. His manner is excellent and communications with me and, where necessary, with my GP, have been prompt and efficiently done.
