From initial phone call to seeing my therapist took about a week, which is so quick. The wellbeing centre is easy to get to. All staff there are welcoming. My therapist is great, introduced themselves told me their background and what the plan of action was. Then listened, asked questions to get the full picture of My PTSD. They explained what PTSD was and how it manifests in terms I understood. We planned further sessions. Every session was calm, well planned and I felt listened to and understood. I had homework to do which I completed as I want to improve. Everything that my therapist has shown and discussed with me makes sense. I fully understand that my therapist gives me the tools to help myself. It is up to me to put everything I have been shown and given in place to make it work, which I am doing. I cannot thank my therapist enough as I feel better and have an understanding of what has been happening and how to deal with it, and I have the tools to help me with things in the future too. I will miss my sessions and my therapist and thank you for everything you have taught me. Take care all, thank you so much again.

Staff were really great, and facilities looked impeccable

Staff very helpful and friendly

My experience was good. The only negative thing i would say is that they took too long in getting me my gluten, wheat and milk free foods and some days i had limited selection. It was not until the penultimate day that i finally got cereal for breakfast.

My experience overall was really positive, the groups & the one-to-one sessions were really helpful. I also felt H&I coming in to carry the message was extremely supportive for ongoing support when I left. I felt the timetable was good & had a few other extra bits like yoga, reiki & gong. Swimming & the gym was also offered but unfortunately didn’t happen. I would recommend treatment here for anyone seeking recovery and needing to detox but I think on-going support in the rooms of a 12 step fellowship is imperative for continued sobriety. Thank you being my spring board into recovery, I will be forever grateful!

Excellent experience

Mostly good. Sessions with therapists were good however there seemed to be a lack of general house keeping and cleaning, e.g. having to request clean towels and bedding despite being promised this would be done weekly. Disappointed that I was able to overhear some private staff client conversations being held in open, public spaces as I was walking past.

Its been great, was with a good group, staff have been good to me and very professional. I would recomend anyone to come here for their detox. Thanj you Oasis Bradford.
