I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

Mr Fitzgerald O'Connor, is such an amazing surgeon. He is so nice and explains everything to you so you understand it. He give you a full brake down of everything and tells you all the risks. He let's you go away and think about what he said so you have time to take it in and digest the information. I am neurodiverse so this is a great help to me, you make the decision. You can ask as many questions as you like and he sees you as well when you have problems or issues and sloves them. I am so happy with the results of my surgery.

Dr. Din took the time to answer all my questions before my procedure in a clear, detailed and kind way. He was reassuring about my worries but honest about all possible outcomes, leaving me able to make an informed decision as to whether I went ahead. The actual procedure was carried out so smoothly with every step explained. I felt as though I was in very safe hands! The outcome is amazing - more positive than I could ever have imagined. I’m so glad I took the plunge to go ahead with the procedure. The admin team, reception staff and the nurses assisting during and later when the stitches were taken out were also kind and reassuring. I’d like to thank you all for such a positive experience.

I cannot thank and recommend Dr Andrew Pieri enough!! After 10 years of not having any confidence in the way I look and always feeling embarrassed about my chest I now feel amazing! I want to say how happy I am with the results of my breast reduction, which was performed by Mr Ghali and his Team in early April of this year. I knew from my initial consultation with Mr Ghali that I had found the perfect surgeon to perform this procedure. He immediately put my mind at ease, by firstly confirming that I did need this reduction, because this had been something I had been considering for years. Then I really appreciated how he included my family in the discussions and allowed for them to ask any questions, and no question was a 'silly question'. I also appreciated Mr Ghali offering to see me as many times as possible if I need additional reassurance or further questions to be answered. And I would always get quick responses from his PA, Emma. The attention to detail on the day of the surgery made me feel even more relaxed and confident in Mr Ghali's ability to do what I had asked for and he had promised to deliver. The aftercare from the staff over the time in hospital was so good. Mr Ghali came the next day to do a follow-up prior to discharging me and I knew I was going home with a smile on my face. I must say the pain levels for me were quite minimal, so that added to my happiness. My follow-up appointment a week later was again very reassuring again allowing for all questions to be answered, I would highly recommend Mr Ghali to anyone who is considering this type of surgery, and can definitely say you will not regret making that decision.
