If you are looking for an ophthalmologist for a cataract look no further - Ms Richardson is the one. I thank my lucky stars for the day I found her. She is simply the best: absolutely delightful, friendly, human, engaging, knowledgeable, caring, reassuring, listens to one and notes down everything one says. She is also an expert clinician having carried out over 25,000 cataract procedures alone. Ms Richardson explains the whole procedure clearly and simply and presents all the options available for the surgery and the new lens and guided me calmly, wisely, sensitively and sensibly throughout the whole process. Successful surgery, great vision and the best ophthalmologist in the world- what more can one want?!

He was very thorough and ask if l kown l had a stigma in my eye explain they could work round it and it could make l eye worse but now they know they will try there best and did l still won't to go a head l said yes he made appointments round my hoildays which was very good of him as he must be very bissy

Mr Ridyard was wonderful & made me feel extremely relaxed and at ease . I was absolutely dreading my cataract surgery but I've booked in for my second one and won't feel anxious at all . The whole experience from the initial consultation to the final post op review meeting was excellent. Mr Bansal explained the procedure clearly at each stage, the surgery was carried out without discomfort and the outcome was extremely successful. Mr Bansal's demeanor was exemplary. I cannot recommend Mr Deshmukh, his colleagues and Moorfields Private Eye Hospital highly enough - the whole experience has been incredible and I am almost unable to believe the outcome - having had months of deteriorating vision while trying to get a proper diagnosis, once I attended Moorfields Private and met Mr Deshmukh I was reassured and confident that a resolution was possible. I had virtually lost the vision in one eye, and had impaired vision in the other, was unable to drive, to read and latterly to use a computer or see the television. Prior to these problems I had worn rigid contact lenses for 48 years. Following replacement lens treatment with EDOF lenses I am now able to see better than since my teenage years - I do not need glasses at all, thanks to Mr Deshmukh.

I researched many Opthalmologist when I developed PCO after having surgery elsewhere. I read that Mr Say Aun Quah had an excellent background and so I booked an appointment. He took the time to do a thorough examination of my eyes and after explaining everything to me we agreed that laser eye surgery was the only option to correct my condition. I booked in and although I was extremely nervous but he put me at ease. The laser eye surgery was totally painless and very successful. The difference in my eyesight was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Mr Say Aun Quah and would like to add that his staff are also extremely helpful and friendly. I felt informed and any questions I made via his secretary Amanda were immediately passed on and answered which made me feel at ease and a like a valued patient. Thank you!
