Professor Ben Turney is professional, clear, and excellent with patients. He manages kidney stone conditions using treatments like ureteroscopy and PCNL surgery, achieving good results. Professor Turney also treats enlarged prostate, offering Rezum and Aquablation therapy for symptom relief. Key patient themes relate to kidney stone management and general urological care.
At every stage of the process from diagnosis to post operative care everything was explained fully and clearly with plenty of chances to ask questions. Nothing was too much trouble or any questions go unanswered so overall I was very pleased with the process and visit(s)
I had been living with daily kidney pain for over 5 years. After my surgery I am now pain free! My treatment with Mr Turney was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone needing surgical intervention for their kidney stones.
I cannot recommend Professor Ben Turney enough. My son saw him several years ago and came away from his first consultation singing his praises. I therefore had high expectations when, quite coincidentally, I realised that I had chosen the same consultant urological surgeon a few years later. Having recently met with Professor Turney myself on a couple of occasions, I can fully appreciate why my son held him in such high regard. Professor Turney could not have been clearer when explaining the findings of the CT scan, the available treatment options and their associated risks. He was also exceptionally patient in answering my many questions. I particularly appreciated his empathetic approach when I explained my concerns. He listened carefully without interruption, took those concerns into account when discussing the next steps, and even suggested that I speak with the anaesthetist beforehand to address my specific worries. Professor Turney treated me with dignity. I felt listened to, respected and left confident in moving forward with treatment. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.
I was a bit nervous, but was put at ease by the professional of the medical team.
Professor Turney was a perfect choice for my surgery. Calm, confident and reassuring, he made the process as stress free as possible. Highly recommend.
Prof Turney treated me for BPH (enlarged prostate). He took the time to explain the condition to me and to discuss treatment options and procedures. He was was always considerate of my concerns and was very willing to answer all my questions in a clear and thorough way. At all times, I felt I was in good hands and receiving the best possible treatment. The procedure was a success and has made a significant difference to my everyday life.
Excellent treatment with really clear explanations. Highly recommended.
Ben was very thorough about his explanations for my enlarged Prostate surgery. I was getting up about 3 times a night and now after the surgery, I can sleep a full 7-8 hours. I had a catheter fitted for the first 7 days, and found that I didn’t need it after the 3rd or 4th day I’m really happy I had Rezum treatment. It doesn’t hurt, it’s very light evasive. To anyone who reads this. It’s definitely worth the money especially knowing that your sleep is definitely not going to be disrupted. Sleep is so important in life. That is the main reason I had it done. Better sleep, better quality of life. Thank you Ben. Regards Simon
Ben Turney is an expert on kidney stones, enlargement of the prostate and all general urology procedures. I would seek him out to treat my family if they needed an expert urologist.
