We delivered our child at the Fitzrovia Suites and, overall, had a very positive experience. The team showed great professionalism, empathy, and attentiveness—qualities that are especially vital for first-time parents navigating such an important moment. We would particularly like to acknowledge Mattai, Judith, Charlie, and Aga whose care and presence under Dr. Shalini’s lead, made us feel supported and reassured, as well as the many other staff members whose names we unfortunately did not catch. Dr. John (anesthesiologist) deserves special praise—he provided a truly comforting and professional experience, working with clinical precision while maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor. His expertise and reassurance made a real difference. That said, not every aspect was up to the same high standard. One midwife’s conduct fell short, both professionally and ethically, which was disappointing in an otherwise excellent team. On the management side, although we provided flexibility to the hospital by accepting an earlier delivery date than originally planned, the wing still appeared overbooked, which resulted in us being surprisingly downgraded to the birth centre on our final day — something that does not align with anyone’s expectations of private practice, particularly after we had clarified this matter beforehand and had been reassured that such occupancy issues had never occurred in this private wing. The Fitzrovia Suites provided us with the essential care we needed, largely thanks to the dedication, empathy, and professionalism of the delivery team and the majority of the staff. However, the overall post-delivery experience did not fully meet the standard we had envisaged. For this reason, when considering a future delivery, we would prefer to remain under the care of the same obstetrician—and ideally many of the outstanding personnel we encountered—but within a different practice that better aligns with our expectations from start to finish.

The care and words of wisdom I have been gifted from Rachel every day , the amazing yoga and meditation with jane and Kaye , the immersion into complete stillness with laughs with Steve and Toby during meditation , the feeling that my body is working to max with my breath work and then if possible works even harder in the ice bath , With Charlie and Radek, Nicola’s invaluable nutritional words of wisdom, my energetic PT sessions with Lauren , the ear y !!!! acupuncture thank you Stu, my therapy with Vanessa which has taught me so much and how can I not praise the amazing cooking and chemistry I experienced with Paul . Finally the massages with Jo that rejuvenated my mind and body . Thank you also to Rob for preparing this amazing timetable and Jonathan and Stuart for creating this wonderful retreat . I recently underwent a laparoscopic excision surgery for endometriosis with Mr Mondelli, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very first consultation, Mr Mondelli took the time to listen to my concerns, explain my condition clearly, and walk me through every step of the procedure. I felt truly heard and cared for, which made such a difference after years of struggling with pain and uncertainty. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the level of professionalism and precision was outstanding. The aftercare has been equally exceptional. In the post-op follow up Mr Mondelli made sure my recovery was on track, and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness. I am finally experiencing relief from symptoms that have affected my daily life for years. I feel hopeful and healthier than I have in a long time. I am so grateful to Mr Mondelli and the whole team who has looked after me so well.

My recent follow up appointment to see Dr Farrah at the Cromwell Hospital after Steroid Injections was spot on! Booking my appointment with Alaa, Dr Farrah's secretary, was easy and stress free. My visit to Dr Farrah was a positive one. She always dedicates the time to listen to your concerns, answer questions and provide feedback. I can tell that Dr Farrah genuinely cares about her patients and wants the very best for them. For the first time ever I found a doctor that not only understands my back pain but has a solution to it plus a back up solution! The hospital itself is very welcoming and clean with great facilities available. I can't thank Dr Farrah enough for all her help so far and will be back again for a follow procedure (RFA) in a few months time.

Mr Giles Stafford

I was made aware of Mr.Stafford by recommendation from a friend who had had a bilateral hip replacement and was of a similar age. I am in my early 50s. I was nervous about doing the bilateral hip replacement but would advise anyone facing it to go for it. Mr. Stafford was reassuringly confident about the operation. Risks were discussed and I was booked in quickly. Two weeks post operation I didn't need crutches, was signed off to drive again, could sleep on my side/front and required no painkillers. I am now 6 weeks in and I genuinely forget that I have even had an operation. I am now starting to go to the gym to build up my strength and flexibility. I cannot recommend Mr.Stafford and his team enough.

The Horder Centre

This was my fourth visit to the Horder over recent years, each time I have been very pleased with the service the Horder Centre has given me in every way. The staff on all levels are thoughtful & kind in the way they treat one, the competency on all levels has been excellent. My only complaint is nothing to do with the Horder as such but with MSK, they seem to very slow in making decisions for patients once they have been referred by ones G.P & very often the only way to find out what is going on is by chasing them, it was because of this we ended up by making the choice of going privately.

Ms Cinzia Sammartino

The clinic welcome, reception & assistant were all exceptional helpful & charming. The surgeon has a super bedside manner, is not at all patronising in her explanation (I have an animal physiology PhD) so we got on really well. This was a second treatment for grade 3 prolapsed haemorrhoids, one of which had decreased in severity to grade 2. The treatment was relatively pain free & didn’t take too long. I had excellent relief from the first treatment but so far after 1 week there has been a reduction in comfort & more prolonged prolapse of the grade 3. Hopefully this will resolve soon

When have you ever had a doctor come to the reception area to meet and greet, guide you to his consulting room, then, when done, escort you back to reception before wishing you goodbye? Well... I HAVE! And the doctor was Dr Sean Brink. What a great way to ease away any anxiety I may have had! Dr Brink's introduction and subsequent discussion on my health and well-being was understanding and simplistic His whole approach made me feel like I was listening to the advice of a good friend! I am most grateful for the follow-up synopsis of consultation and diagnosis on the way forward.

Generally my experience was very good. On my first op I was told by a nurse to keep watching the microscope during the operation. This advice was misleading and lead me to take my eye away from the light w Which might have been the cause of the large number of floaters in my left eye, not that this bothers me greatly. The other very minor point. Please could the staff be taught the correct positioning of the eye shield, as this would instruct the patient or carer. Otherwise thank you for an excellent service.

Mr Collier offered the best dental experience I have ever had . Calm , patient, informative and truly skilful. His practice nurse Helena was also excellent- calm and encouraging. Additionally the clinic nurse Michelle gave an exceptional telephone and online service before and after procedure - again, clear, friendly, informative and encouraging . Cannot recommend this practice highly enough.
