Wow what can I say, right from the very first time I spoke to Andrew I felt at ease. After a 15 min mini phone consultation I knew he was who I wanted to do my procedure, I then had my face to face consultation in which he showed me exactly what he was going to do and what the end result would hopefully look like. I've had my dressings removed today and I cant keep the smile off my face. This has been something I've wanted done for a long time and going with Andrew and his team at TSS was the best decision I definitely made. Dr Satherley was one of the nicest consultants I have had the pleasure of meeting. She made me feel at ease, and was so easy to talk to. Everything was explained fully also. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is nervous.

I cannot thank Manaf enough from start to finish. Having had consultations with two other surgeons , I knew straight away Manaf was the surgeon I would choose. He was so welcoming, friendly, helpful , pleasant and made me feel so comfortable. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me in so much detail. I originally went to Manaf with a size in mind, but he gave me an honest opinion as a surgeon as to what he thought was best. I ended up choosing his size and I am so happy I did listen to his advice! Once the surgery was done, he still continued to show support and care! I thankfully found Professor Vaidya as I wished to avoid having a full course of radiotherapy following a lumpectomy. Less than an hour after contacting him, he personally called me. Throughout this journey, he has always been professional, caring, supportive and answered every single question with total honesty. He with others, "pioneered" TARGET-IORT treatment and this is what I went had, having been identified as a suitable candidate. I have now been through successful surgery and I am convinced I have taken the very best course of treatment for me at this time with the personal support of Professor Vaidya and his team. I could not recommend him more highly.

This period is a haze. I put my trust in Mr Gosh by choice. If in a few years time I have to go through again I will be asking for Mr Gosh to be my surgeon.

The experience I had with Dr Chakravorty was outstanding, he was really good with explaining exactly what was going to happen and answered all of my questions in an easy to understand way. My consultations never felt rushed and I got the impression he really cares for his patients. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction with Mr Lim 2 months ago and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is utterly professional, kind and patient. He really takes the time to explain things and put you at ease and his results are just fantastic. I’m already over the moon with my results so can’t wait to see what I look like when I’m completely healed. This surgery has been life changing for me, as it is already given me so much body confidence that I have never ever had. If anyone is considering this surgery, I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend Mr Lim.

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!
